My take on the BJP's proposal to install Subhash Chandra Bose's statue in the empty canopy near India Gate

 NETAJI STATUE, MY TAKE:

BJP announces it's plan to install a statue of Netaji (great Socialist freedom fighter who preferred violence, and encouraged female tweens to join the army) at India Gate.

BJP makes this announcement at a time when Russia has reportedly amassed approx one lakh and twenty five thousand troops near the Ukranian border.

There was something intangible and great about the canopy near India gate being transparent, inscrutable and at the service of the castles of your mind. I speak in my avataar of "Delhi-ite".

The nation still needs to digest the idea of a granite statue of a man (however great), now being etched into the near horizon.

If the space had to be crowded into, couldn't it be a tree? Or a representation of a spaceage object? Or of the innocent girlchild turning cartwheels at a traffic light?
