Emerging Technologies and Governmental Policies (a brief monologue I posted on Facebook)

From my Facebook post:

EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES AND GOVERNMENTAL POLICIES: SIGNS OF CLUELESSNESS AND/OR APATHY/ STONE-AGE INSPIRED DISBELIEF/EGO/LACK OF TRANSPARENCY OF COGNITION BY THOSE IN POWER:

I THINK:
1. There exist surveillance technologies that do not need to enter your physical space to hear, view, and possibly tap other sensory functions, in order to spy on your immediate physical state/activities.

2. There exist at least two types of technologies that can communicate sounds and thoughts directly into a person's auditory sensors during a person's waking, sleeping and REM and other states. These could be recorded sounds as well as live relays.

3. Drone technology is in various states of commercial use. Such drones can be miniaturized to a great extent, and be dressed up as various insects, birds, miniscule objects and chips. These objects would be able to carry out a number of functions, including emit sounds of varying audible and inaudible frequencies.

4. Break-ins to spaces are not entirely preventable (for example, those in charge of keeping spaces secure would also be breaking in to a private space if they did so without the permission or without informing the owner).

5. One example of how the above might be being used to intimidate populations and nations via targeting individuals who either do not understand this, or whose voices are ignored (and therefore, in either of the cases, there would be no suspicion that such things are happening, and thus no cognizance of such developments) would be something like this:

a) One is about to iron a Kurta inside one's own home in a closed room, and one places the kurta on an ironing board (a Kurta is a an Indian long shirt-like dress).
Please note that the Hindi word for dog sounds similar: Kutta.

b) As one does the above, one hears a sound of a dog yelping somewhere in the outdoor (sounds travel far, the range of sound could be vast).

c) And exactly at the same time, one hears this audio in one's head being said in Hindi: This is my dog (yeh mera kutta hai).

This could just be a way to bring to a person's attention, the state of the art of technology.

But it is objectionable, and would be a sign of hostile communication to an individual, irrespective of the cause it might represent.

6. Scenario # 2:
a) A brand new cake of soap that is not the kind that has rough material on it suddenly gains rough material, and one might dismiss it as having fallen on the floor even if there have been zero known visitors to the spot.
But then what if one thought that the granules felt like ground glass. Thought dismissed.

b) When one steps into night pyjamas, the fabric of the inner thigh area is unusually rough.

c) Simultaneously, a voice is herd saying "glash"

d) On closer inspection, a speck of glass powder is detected on the fabric.

7. Only an inept government would not realize that such things can happen, and that the law and policy needs to immediately plan for this in a transparent and consultative manner.

8. What are parliamentary committees doing, and is the forthcoming Rajya Sabha session just going to be another charade of keeping up with the times?
