Surveillance, Privacy, Entrainment, Human Rights (a very brief memo from me)
(points to note, just written and posted by me on Facebook)
Surveillance:
1. Do not allow your understanding of Surveillance to be overshadowed by only what happens on the internet, though that's important as well.
2. There are at least two types of anthropogenicaly developed, hardware-based technological means by which voices and thoughts can be conveyed to humans, some of which are being patented and, I daresay, being used and possibly marketed in the open.
3. The definition of Surveillance (or, in any event, of 'lack of privacy'), needs to be expanded to include invasive activities (such as, but not limited to, inaudible and audible sound signals), that attempt to entrain and manipulate behaviours.
