My latest Facebook post:
I've watched a recording of the PM of Pakistan's 24th Sept., 2019 press conference in New York
My personal responses:
1. Regarding Kashmir, I will stick to my (INC) party's official line at this point of time (haven't kept track of the details of the position).
Will, however, say that it is of great concern that such restrictions have been imposed on an entire population, and a geographical area for such a prolonged period of time.
Women would be among the first to suffer in the so-called best of societies under such festering circumstances.

2. Regarding the overall India-Pak dialogue, is it true that no conversations at all are taking place? Unlikely.
That said, what would it take for us to inch forward with solutions? Perhaps the release of Jadhav?

3. Interesting that Trump has asked Imran to help out with talking to Iran. I thought India could do that equally well (maybe not under BJP rule?)
4. Were there any independent-minded women on the Taliban delegation that went to Russia for talks? (I read about such a delegation a few days ago in the newspapers)
5. If, according to the Pak PM, the interests of large economies are detrimental to the rights of certain communities, would they be willing to look at co-operation in the area of non-corrupt small-scale networks for economic co-operation? If yes, I'll harp on my favourite solutions
